Meet Dalia: South Florida’s New Mediterranean Restaurant

INK Entertainment to Open ‘meet Dalia’ in Miami Beach on August 4th, 2021

 The Mediterranean Restaurant will be the First Concept to Open as Part of INK’s Recently Announced Rapid Expansion Plan of Five New Openings Over the Next Eight Months

Helmed by INK’s Charles Kabouth, Danny Soberano and Ricardo Tabet, meet Dalia is an indoor/outdoor restaurant that will reside at the newly remodeled art-deco property located at 640 Ocean Drive. meet Dalia marks the first of five to-open restaurants and bars that INK will bring to South Florida at the onset of their North American expansion. The menu will feature an innovative take on Mediterranean cuisine artfully orchestrated by INK’s Executive Corporate Chef, Patrick Ochs.

meet Dalia brings together the finest ingredients from around the world for an innovative take on Mediterranean cuisine. Offerings include classics with a signature spin like Fattouch with pomegranate vinaigrette, a slew of vegetarian/gluten-free options such as green tahini, and buttermilk dressed roasted cauliflower; a fresh, flaky Branzino en croute; ground lamb dumplings; beautiful cuts of meat and fresh seafood offerings and a symphonic dessert menu featuring modern spins of classics like the coconut galaktoboureko and chocolate baklava. Guests will be able to watch the preparation from the vast views of an open kitchen, making the experience all the more enjoyable.  

“It’s been a great journey to have been able to develop what feels like such a unique take on coastal Mediterranean cuisine,” said Patrick Ochs, Executive Corporate Chef, INK Entertainment. “This menu and it’s offerings  were designed  with the intention of bringing to life a modern  selection of  dishes  that would represent our interpretation of  Mediterranean  food  while  honoring the essence of all that that represents.”   

In step with its menu, which acts as an inclusive celebration of all that’s Mediterranean, so does meet Dalia’s design by embodying a whimsical approach through the use of vibrant colors reminiscent of the coastal seaboard. Under the watchful eye of Navigate Design the design incorporates references to the building’s art deco heritage while paying tribute to its essence through jewels of old plaster, lavish light fixtures, and curated Turkish rugs that casually overlay one another. The space is a fluid experience from when one enters the lobby on through to the outdoor tiered terraces, which are filled with larger-than-life outdoor furnishings, an abundance of greenery, and romantic lights. It is a perfect place to watch the sunset and witness the restaurant transform from dawn to dusk as it takes on varying personalities. meet Dalia represents simple elegance with a wild imagination.

MENU HIGHLIGHTS

meet Dalia brings together the finest ingredients from around the world for an innovative take on Mediterranean cuisine. The Raw Bar offers oysters, shrimp, lobster, and stone crabs, ordered individually or in a luxe seafood tower.  The Mezze, appetizers, and salad highlights include Babaganoush (smoked eggplant, za’atar, fermented cabbage, confit garlic); Kale Tabbouleh (purple kale, parsley, mint, pistachio, barberry, lemon vinaigrette, crispy quinoa); Falafel Fritters (pickled red cabbage, green tartare sauce, dukkha); Shrimp Kataifi (honey, aleppo, lemon mayo, toasted almonds, smoked paprika); Roasted Cauliflower (green tahini, buttermilk, toasted almonds, cilantro); and Mediterranean Octopus (white bean, greek yellow peppers, crispy soujuk, caper). Flatbread offerings include the Mergeuz (lamb sausage, red pepper paste, feta, mint, yogurt, pepperoncini); and Truffle (wild mushrooms, caramelized onions, confit garlic, manouri cheese). Entrees choices such as the Branzino (salt baked in pastry, grape leaf, olive oil, chives, caper leaf); Moussaka (short rib, roasted eggplant, crispy potato, chervil); Free Range Chicken or Beef Tenderloin Skewers (pita, watercress biwaz, garlic yogurt toum); Oyster Mushrooms Skewer (avocado puree, sumac gremolata, cilantro cress); and Grilled Colorado Lamb Chops, Dry Aged Ribeye, Whole Octopus, and Branzino, are sure to delight.
