While the city continues to reopen and implement creative solutions for our new normal, INK Entertainment is thrilled to announce CityView Drive-In, Toronto’s newest outdoor concert and entertainment venue. Presenting concerts, movie nights, unique events and more, CityView is an entirely contactless experience in the heart of Toronto’s docklands, with the picturesque Toronto skyline as a backdrop.
Designed to host 200+ vehicles in reserved parking spots a minimum of seven feet apart, guests can enjoy live entertainment from the 238-foot stage and three large LED screens supplied by Apex Sound & Light from the comfort of their own car. For a completely contactless experience, tickets are to be purchased in advance online and will be scanned at front gate via a touchless system.
To kick things off, Monster Truck will perform on July 16th, followed by performances by Allan Rayman on July 18th and A Tribe Called Red on August 6th, with many more shows to be announced.
We are very eager to reopen and serve you as valued guests. We want to assure you that health, safety and warm hospitality remains our top priority at all INK Entertainment venues. While we navigate the new normal, new measures and protocols will be implemented at our venue.
Listed below are a few of the measures we have implemented to date:
All staff will be trained on and wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
Frequent hand washing remains crucial and compulsory.
Continued vigilance in our sanitization efforts, including hourly cleaning of commonly touched venue surfaces, workspaces, tables, door handles and phones will occur daily.
Furniture and surfaces that guests come in contact with, such as tables, chairs, benches and menus, will be disinfected after each use.
Increased antibacterial soaps will be readily available in our restrooms and sanitizing dispensers will be installed across our restaurant for staff and customers.
Tables will be spaced a minimum of six feet apart with a maximum of six guests per table, as per Toronto Public Health.
If anyone is unwell, they will not have to come to work or will be asked to go home and recover. Transparency between staff and management regarding well-being is paramount.
We are actively monitoring updates from all levels of government and health officials and will adjust our protocols as necessary and recommended.
We thank you, dear guests, for your continued support in this uncertain time. We look forward to welcoming you back.
Art has the ability to bring joy in the most challenging times.
As the world continues the fight against COVID-19, it is more important than ever to look for the positives and to give back when possible. INK Entertainment’s Taglialatella Galleries is thrilled to be partnering with legendary pop-artist, Mr. Brainwash, on a limited edition We Love Canada print.
Available for purchase as of today, 10 per cent of the signed prints’ sales will be donated to Street Haven, a local organization supporting women experiencing, or at risk of homelessness.
As the Canadian outpost of the Taglialatella brand, Taglialatella Galleries New York launched an Art for Relief campaign in March to share positive imagery and support local charities during this time. Featuring internationally renowned artists like Mr. Brainwash, Burton Morris, and Russell Young, the Art for Relief campaign has raised nearly $20,000 USD.
We extend our thanks to the frontline workers for all they have done during the COVID-19 pandemic. More than anyone could have imagined, their lives have been turned upside down as they put their health at risk to help us. As part of an INK Cares initiative and to express our sincere gratitude, each week our kitchen staff at the Bisha Hotel are preparing a selection of sweet and savoury food donations for the incredible teams at Toronto hospitals. While remaining inside is the greatest way to support healthcare workers and at-risk individuals, we hope to provide a moment of relief and offer this as a token of our appreciation during these trying times. We can’t thank you enough.
These are incredibly difficult and unprecedented times. Each day we come to work, we look forward to providing our guests with memorable experiences and warm service. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have made the difficult decision to close all of our Canadian venues effective immediately.
As the world navigates the coronavirus, we extend our thanks to local officials and healthcare professionals for all they are doing. We offer our deepest gratitude to our valued guests and local community for their unwavering support over the years and their understanding of this decision during an incredibly difficult time.
The situation is fluid. We are closely monitoring the news, recommendations from the government and health experts, and the development of the virus. We want to do our part to help stop the spread of COVID-19 and will remain closed until further notice. We look forward to welcoming you back as a valued guest as soon as we can.
