Charles Khabouth wins EY Entrepreneur of the Year for Entertainment & Hospitality

Congratulations to INK Entertainment’s CEO and Founder Charles Khabouth on winning Ernst & Young (EY)’s Entrepreneur of the Year Award in the Entertainment & Hospitality sector for the Ontario region.

The EY Entrepreneur Of The Year™ 2018 Ontario awards program honours the visionaries who dare to think differently to pioneer new solutions, combinations and possibilities. This year, 46 finalists across nine categories were recognized for their entrepreneurial spirit, unyielding high standards and commitment to purpose-driven leadership. The awards took place on Thursday, October 25th at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre with many of Ontario’s successful entrepreneurs and business owners in attendance.

“Creating experiences is my passion and seeing guests enjoy themselves at our venues is the ultimate motivator,” says Khabouth. “I extend my congratulations to all of the other finalists at last night’s gala. To work in this industry and be recognized by EY is an incredible honour. I can assure you INK Entertainment has much more to come.”

Leading the entertainment and hospitality scene since the early 1980’s, Khabouth is known and respected for his risky out of the box ideas. From Toronto’s ground-breaking Club Z and nightclub Stilife, award-winning restaurants, luxury boutique hotel brand Bisha and a recent venture into the art world, Khabouth’s 30-plus year career has been nothing short of inspiring.
