INK Entertainment and Taglialatella Galleries are pleased to announce they have partnered to launch Canada’s first Taglialatella Galleries location this June in Yorkville, Toronto. Adjacent to INK Entertainment’s new fine-dining Italian restaurant Sofia, the space is an elixir of fine art, design and entertainment, transcending the usual gallery experience.
Established in 1978, Taglialatella Galleries are located in New York City, Palm Beach and Miami with a brand synonymous with modern and contemporary art, as well as expertise in the pop and street art movements. The galleries feature pieces from renowned artists such as Banksy, Mr. Brainwash, Logan Hicks, Rubem Robierb, Swoon and Russell Young.
INK Entertainment CEO Charles Khabouth and president Danny Soberano have joined forces with the gallery to have INK officially enter the art world. Since 1982, INK has shaped Toronto’s dining, lifestyle, entertainment and design culture, with Charles and Danny having an eye for up-and-coming artists as avid lovers and collectors of art. “Venturing into this space is a very natural progression for the company,” says Charles Khabouth. “What you will see is unlike anything we have in the city – the art is modern, daring and makes a statement.”
Designed for exploration, guests will be able to walk between the gallery and INK Entertainment’s newest restaurant Sofia through a joint thoroughfare. A destination of upper-tier dining and authentic Italian cuisine, a curated collection of art is displayed within the restaurant and available for purchase.
