Toronto’s own Zed’s Dead burst onto the scene back in their hometown with their weekly club night Bassmentality at Wrongbar, which hosted Skrillex, Borgore and Nero, and haven’t stopped since through their own event Deadrocks at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado and Deadbeats which originated in Toronto but has since gone global. The duo have released multiple EPs, as well as their debut album Northern Lights back in 2016. We’re excited to have these hometown heroes close out Day One of Solaris 2017.
Steve Aoki is an American electro house DJ, producer and music executive for label Dim Mak and no stranger to Toronto music festivals. Aoki has collaborated with artists such as Afrojack, Laidback Luke, Linkin Park and has done remixes for artists such as Kid Cudi. He has released several EPs and albums, notably Wonderland, which was nominated for Best Dance/Electronica Album at the 2013 Grammy Awards. As an INK Events regular, we’re stoked to have Steve close out the second and final day of Solaris 2017.
